Solution
We are developing an improved version of the technology of water production from the air, regardless of weather conditions and with its own energy source. To do this, on the one hand, we are incorporating humidity and environmental temperature sensors, to automatically regulate the internal temperature of the condensation trays to the dew point. The dew point is the temperature at which water condenses as a function of atmospheric humidity. In this way, depending on the humidity contained in the air, it is possible to generate the dew point, regulating the condensation temperature, as shown in the following image:

In this way, regardless of the humidity of the air, it is possible to regulate the dew point temperature to produce water continuously. Additionally, a chip connected to the Internet (IoT) is installed in the control panel to monitor the operation of the equipment remotely. The generated water goes to a storage tank where the traditional purification process is carried out, before continuing with the public supply.
On the other hand, our equipment includes a renewable energy source, which consists of solar panels that are installed on top of it. This allows it to operate autonomously without depending on the connection to an electrical network. Besides, the equipment could be installed in rural areas such as the tourist facilities inside the islands. The drinking water that is produced can be used not only for human consumption but also for agricultural or livestock activities, which would guarantee the sustainability of such destinations that would be self-sufficient in water and food.
Below is a diagram of the proposed equipment:
